Aqualand Maspalomas newest attraction will open early next year. The components of what will be the Water Temple, a set of eight spectacular slides with a ride of over 150 meters, have come from the manufacturer already inside fifty containers will be shipped to Gran Canaria. In the coming weeks, they will arrive at the port of Las Palmas.
The arrival of this new generation Attraction, which joins the extraordinary success of the Twin Turbolance, opened in January 2014, is part of the Aspro Parks Canarias investments plan of its two parks in Gran Canaria. During the next three years, the company will invest over 30 million euros in new attractions and exhibitions, in Aqualand Maspalomas and Palmitos Park.
Aqualand Maspalomas, one of the reference water parks in Europe, is carrying out a process of theming inspired by the decisive role played by the Canary Islands in the Discovery of America. A transformation that is provided by leading international specialists in the field, who have worked on movies like Pirates of the Caribbean.
